Description Created in 1840, this yellow liqueur is inspired by the Elixir Végétal recipe. It was so popular that Father Garnier, attorney and responsible for liqueurs at the time, subsequently decided to officially name it Chartreuse Jaune and registered the “Chartreuse” mark in 1852. It was a liqueur with a 43 ° content, produced and still made today by the Chartreux Fathers. Tasting Notes: An intense yellow color, a fresh and spicy nose. A soft structure. Scents of turmeric, citrus and anise. Floral notes extend the tasting.
Description The only liqueur in the world with a truly natural green color is Chartreuse. It has a strong presence and is one-of-a-kind. Just two Chartreuse monks are aware of the 130 different plants, how to mix them, and how to distill them into the world-famous liqueur. They're also the only ones who know which plants to macerate in order to get the natural green and yellow hues.  Tasting Notes: A Chartreuse green color, a powerful herbaceous, peppery nose. A fresh palate with minty notes, pine sap and citrus fruits. Bittersweet tea at the end of the mouth prolongs the tasting.
