Product Description: The Maker’s Mark Wood Finishing Series 2025: The Keepers Release is a limited-edition bourbon that pays tribute to the dedicated warehouse team at Maker’s Mark. These unsung heroes are responsible for the meticulous process of hand-rotating barrels throughout the aging cycle, ensuring a consistent flavor profile in every bottle. This practice, rare among large-scale distilleries, reflects the brand's commitment to craftsmanship and tradition.

Crafting the Keepers Release

This expression begins with fully matured, cask-strength Maker’s Mark bourbon, aged between six to seven years. It is then finished using two distinct types of toasted American oak staves:

• Stave Profile 1: Barrels finished with this stave underwent an additional five weeks of aging.

• Stave Profile 2: Barrels with this stave were finished for nine weeks.

After the finishing period, the two batches were blended in equal proportions and bottled at cask strength, resulting in a robust proof of approximately 110 (around 55% ABV).

Tasting Notes

• Nose: Seasoned oak, brûlée sugar, and tobacco.

• Palate: Bold toasted oak, subtle sweetness, brown sugar, maple, and spice.

• Finish: Long and enveloping with notes of dried dark fruit and roasted sweetness.
